Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Effective Date: August 7, 2026
1. Introduction
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the rules, timelines, and limitations that apply when you cancel or request a refund for travel booked through ClearSkies Travel Line LLC. By purchasing a ticket or reservation through our agency, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
We act strictly as an independent, third-party booking agent. We do not control airline or hotel policies and cannot guarantee that any booking will be refundable. All refund decisions are made by the travel supplier, not by ClearSkies Travel Line LLC.
2. Supplier Rules Dictate Refunds
Whether a flight, hotel, or travel service is refundable is determined entirely by the fare rules, rate terms, and cancellation policies of the airline, hotel chain, tour operator, or other supplier that holds your reservation.
Important examples include:
- Basic Economy and restricted airfares: These tickets are typically entirely non-refundable and non-changeable once purchased. No refund, credit, or exchange may be permitted by the airline.
- Standard Economy and flexible fares: Refundability depends on the specific airline's fare rules. Some may allow a full or partial refund; others may issue a travel credit minus a cancellation penalty.
- Hotel reservations: Refund and cancellation terms are set by each individual property and the rate plan you selected. Non-refundable or advance-purchase rates are not eligible for a refund.
- Package components, tours, and ancillary services: These are subject to the supplier's own terms, which may be non-refundable regardless of the reason for cancellation.
Our booking specialists will explain the applicable supplier rules before you complete your purchase. Once you confirm and payment is processed, those rules are binding.
3. Our Cancellation Process
To request a cancellation, change, or refund, you must call our dedicated booking line at (855) 220-8250 directly. Cancellations, changes, and refund requests are not accepted by email, text message, social media, or any other method.
For the best chance of avoiding penalties or forfeiture, you must notify us by phone at least 24 to 48 hours before your scheduled departure or hotel check-in time. Cancellations requested within 24 hours of departure or after supplier deadlines may be denied or subject to full forfeiture.
Once we receive your phone request, we will contact the supplier on your behalf, confirm whether a refund, credit, or penalty applies, and communicate the outcome to you. We cannot process a refund until the supplier approves it under its own policies.
4. Agency Service and Booking Fees Are Non-Refundable
Any agency service fees, booking fees, reservation fees, or administrative fees charged by ClearSkies Travel Line LLC at the time of purchase are 100% non-refundable, regardless of whether:
- The airline or hotel grants a refund for the underlying ticket or reservation.
- You cancel immediately after booking.
- The supplier issues a travel credit instead of a cash refund.
- The booking was unused due to circumstances beyond your control.
These fees compensate our agents for the time, expertise, and systems used to research, quote, reserve, and confirm your travel arrangements. They are earned at the moment the booking is completed.
5. Refund Processing Time
If the supplier approves a refund, the refunded amount will be returned to the original payment method used for the booking. Processing times are controlled by the supplier and your financial institution, not by ClearSkies Travel Line LLC.
Typical timelines are as follows:
- Supplier processing: 7 to 14 business days from the date the supplier approves the refund.
- Bank or card issuer posting: An additional 1 to 2 full billing cycles may be required before the credit appears on your card or bank statement.
ClearSkies Travel Line LLC is not responsible for delays caused by airlines, hotels, payment processors, banks, or card issuers. If you do not see a refund after a reasonable period, contact your bank or card issuer first, then contact us.
6. No-Show Policy
If you fail to show up for your flight, hotel check-in, or other confirmed travel service without first notifying us by phone, the entire booking will be considered a no-show and will be forfeited and non-refundable.
A no-show may also result in the cancellation of any remaining segments of your itinerary (including return flights) at the supplier's discretion. ClearSkies Travel Line LLC is not liable for any losses, additional expenses, or missed connections resulting from a no-show.
7. Changes to Bookings
Changes to flights, hotels, dates, routing, passenger names, or other booking details are subject to supplier rules and availability. Most changes incur supplier change fees plus any fare or rate difference. Name changes and date changes are often prohibited or heavily restricted.
Our agents will confirm all applicable fees and conditions with you by phone before any change is made. Once a change is confirmed and processed, the revised booking is subject to the same cancellation and refund limitations described in this policy.
8. Special Requests, Insurance, and Force Majeure
ClearSkies Travel Line LLC is not responsible for supplier cancellations, schedule changes, overbookings, or service disruptions caused by weather, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics, or other events outside our control.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to protect against unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, trip interruptions, and other covered events. Insurance claims are handled directly by the insurance provider under its policy terms.
9. Chargebacks and Disputes
Filing a credit card chargeback or payment dispute does not override the terms of this policy. If you initiate a chargeback while a refund request is being processed, you may delay or forfeit your eligibility for a supplier refund or travel credit.
We reserve the right to provide your bank and the payment processor with a copy of your booking confirmation, this policy, and call records to demonstrate your acceptance of these terms.
